Meet Mayur
Hi, I’m Mayur.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.
I’m a husband, father, soon-to-be grandfather, financial services executive, traveler, hiker, and someone who believes life is meant to be shared with family and friends.
I’m 60 years old and live in Northern Virginia with my wife. I’m fortunate to have two wonderful children — a son who is married and a daughter who is engaged. One of the greatest joys on the horizon is becoming a grandfather for the first time later this year. I’m also looking forward to celebrating my daughter’s wedding and the many family milestones that I hope are still to come.
Family and friends have always been at the center of my life. Whether it’s a holiday, a family dinner, a trip together, or a quiet evening — those moments are what matter most.
Professionally, I’ve spent my career in financial services helping support opportunities for families to build stronger financial futures. Today, I serve as Chief Credit Officer at Freddie Mac, where I help lead the organization’s credit strategy in support of its mission of making homeownership possible for millions of Americans. Knowing that my work contributes to helping families achieve one of life’s most important milestones has been one of the greatest privileges of my career.
While family is my greatest joy, my work has also been an important source of purpose and fulfillment. I continue to be energized by the opportunity to mentor colleagues, solve complex challenges, and contribute to Freddie Mac’s mission. I believe I still have many meaningful years ahead to continue serving others through my work.
Outside of work, I love traveling, hiking, reading, watching movies, exercising, practicing yoga, and simply enjoying time with the people I love. One tradition that has always been especially meaningful to me is traveling to India to spend time with my extended family — those visits keep me connected to my roots, allow me to celebrate important occasions, and strengthen relationships that span generations.
Like many people, I always imagined the years ahead as a time to travel more, celebrate family milestones, remain active, continue contributing professionally, and enjoy life’s everyday moments. Today, I’m focused on staying healthy enough to continue living that life.
